    We all wish to be happy and healthy-but how?

    Kadampa Meditation Center Texas announces a free public talk for anyone interested in learning how we can learn to enjoy a healthy, balanced state of mind even in the midst of our busy, modern lives on Saturday, January 14, 2012; 2pm to 3:30 pm at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens.

    Everyone is welcome to this free public talk to receive simple and practical advice on how to improve health and happiness throughout the New Year.

    In this talk, American Buddhist monk, Gen Kelsang Jampa, will explain how both our experience of happiness and our well-being are closely related to our state of mind. With simple daily meditations, we can experience a sense of inner peace and well-being, reduce stress, boost our energy and improve our health.

    Gen Kelsang Jampa, an American Buddhist Monk, is the NKT-IKBU National Spiritual Director for the US and the Resident Teacher of KMC Texas in Arlington. He has studied and practiced Buddhist meditation for many years. Gen Jampa's warmth, kindness and deep understanding provide an inspiring example of Buddhism in practice.

    The Fort Worth Botanic Gardens (Lecture Hall) is located at 3220 Botanic Garden Blvd., Fort Worth, TX 76107.

    Directions: Located approximately 1½ miles west of downtown Fort Worth at the intersection of Interstate 30 and University Drive. Take the University exit and turn north. The Garden has two entrances on your left. The Garden Center is located at the second entrance. The Gardens Restaurant and Catering is located inside the Botanic Garden near the first entrance.
