Now you can have fresh minty breath AND do your part to help fund Breast Cancer awareness and research.

A vending machine manufacturer in Coconut Creek, FL has developed a unique business opportunity that combines entrepreneurship and philanthropy. This exciting opportunity is the world’s first Breast Cancer Awareness mint vending machine. This single-serving vending machine is the first of its kind to target Breast Cancer Awareness and also the first time a company has manufactured a vending machine for the Hint Mint product.

The idea for the machine came from Rocket Vending Co-Owner and Vice President, Dori Mirkow, whose mother is a breast cancer survivor. While vacationing in Tennessee she visited a gift boutique and saw The Hint Mint Breast Cancer Awareness tin. Motivated by the experiences of her mother, Dori began to pursue a venture to create a Breast Cancer Awareness vending machine as a way to help fund breast cancer research and increase awareness and advocacy.

Rocket Vending owners, President Michael Fischer and Mirkow, both had the mindset from the beginning of operations at Rocket Vending to “give something back.” With each Breast Cancer Awareness vending machine purchased, Rocket Vending donates a percentage of the sales price to the Breast Cancer charity of the distributors choice; the manufacturer of the mints which are vended out of the machines, Hint Mint, contributes a percentage for each case sold; and finally, Rocket Vending encourages each distributor to donate $1 per month, per machine, to Breast Cancer Awareness research and funding. Mirkow said that her goal is to have 10,000 machines out in the field by July 31, 2009, thereby generating $10,000 a month in charitable contributions just from the distributors alone.
