Produced by Jackson's company Cheetah Vision Films, the film stars 50 Cent as an All-American high school football star when his career is tragically jeopardized.     Fresh off of filming David Fincher's THE SOCIAL NETWORK opposite Rashida Jones and Jesse Eisenberg, the Alaskan native got his start in films like AMERICAN GANGSTER opposite Oscar® winner Denzel Washington and THE LEAST AMONG YOU starring opposite another Oscar® winner Lou Gossett, Jr. This fall he filmed the leading role in ROCK STEADY, a coming of age drama set in the world of stock-car dirt-track racing.

    While he doesn't have to lose 65 pounds for his role like 50 Cent is reportedly doing, Sander's says he turned down other lead offers for the challenge of the character and his relationship with 50 Cent's character.

    "He's practical, awkward, book smart, and has lived in the shadows of his older brother his whole life. When tragedy strikes, the relationship between the two brothers really transforms." Sanders said. Lynn Whitfield plays their mom. On working with 50 Cent, Sanders admires his dedication to the character, "We'd have a break from rehearsals and he [50 Cent] would immediately head outside to workout. Very impressive." Sanders, also speaks highly of the film's director, Mario Van Peebles saying, "He's very specific and detailed. He's an actors dream to work with."

    Called "Hollywood's newest find" by Starzlife, Sanders career is definitely on the fast track. When talking about his race-car driver role in Rock Steady he said, "It's a fun action comedy, but since I'm in it there's a little drama too."

    Sanders won an NAACP Theatre Awards for his stellar lead performance in A MATTER OF HONOR and an Best Actor Award for LEAST AMONG YOU at the SDBFF.

    In his personal life, he feels at peace as a young single man living in Los Angeles, and no wonder, Sanders has been spotted on red carpets all over town with gorgeous actress Tiffany Hines (Bones) and other Hollywood's leading ladies.
