"I want victims and survivors to know that there is hope after going through domestic violence. There is light at the end of the tunnel" says Johnson.

    The statistics are staggering. On average, more than three women and one man are murdered by their intimate partners every day. Headlines in New York City news continue to report recent incidents; including the most recent case of the young mother who drove herself and her four innocent children into the Hudson River after a domestic dispute. In 2010 NYC Police responded to over 249,440 domestic violence incidents.

    This day is necessary. Enough Is Enough, seeks to promote awareness about Domestic Violence and asks for New York's support on April 16th. Author Tiffany Johnson will be signing copies of Enough Is Enough. Also, she will openly discuss details about her experience in hopes to help save lives. Dialogue is encouraged and attendees are encouraged to bring family and friends.
    The social gathering also promises an atmosphere hosted with food and a live auction. "Our primary goal is to foster the spirit of optimism, cooperative economics and empowerment! "says Amore of Apples & Oranges PR, the event organizer and co-sponsor. The book is now available in

    10% of all event proceeds and book sales will be donated to Child Abuse Prevention Program; an independent non-profit child safety workshop that speaks directly to children about the prevention of physical and sexual abuse. Also to benefit, is P.O.W.E.R.S. INC., a nonprofit organization providing restorative services to individuals who have been victimized by domestic violence.

    About The Author
    In just one year, Tiffany Johnson has survived domestic violence, written a compelling memoir about her experience, started her own company, appeared on several NYC radio shows, partnered with two local charities to provide and assist victims with counseling, referrals, safety planning and relocation services. Upon the completing her memoir, Tiffany was faced with the challenges and difficulty of getting her book published. But that did not stop her; she had a story to tell and started her own publishing company Treasure Box Publishing. Today, Tiffany continues to be an advocate to help end domestic violence. She is also a mother and a full time student at Bramson Ort College, pursuing a degree in Health Care Administration. Tiffany is passionate about abuse prevention and welcomes the opportunity to speak out against abuse of any kind.
