Dom Joly set up a market stall in the heart of the capital and revealed that with a large amount of dramatic license and more front than Blackpool, it is easy to bluff the British public into believing almost anything about gadgets. From toasters that can toast an egg to electric toothbrushes which encourage the growth of new ‘baby teeth,’ it’s amazing what people will believe.

Dom says, “I was absolutely astonished. I’ve done loads of blagging with people in Trigger Happy so I know I can persuade people. But the whole point was I’d start with really ridiculous stuff and then go down to a level people would believe – but they just believed it straight away”.
