  • Lousiville, KY-IN (1888PressRelease) September 22, 2014 - CredentialedCARE Corporation, a leading supplier of services to the long-term care industry, has officially accepted a grant award from the Kentucky Enterprise Fund, which was established as a pre-seed and early stage capital venture fund focused on emerging innovation-driven companies. CredentialedCARE is headquartered in Louisville, KY and is a recent graduate of the XLerateHealth Accelerator (http://www.xleratehealth.com) program which is dedicated to helping early stage healthcare companies build out their commercialization strategy. CredentialedCARE (https://credentialedcare.com ) will use the $30,000 award to build out its cloud-based technology and to begin commercialization in its test markets.

CredentialedCARE's early efforts will be devoted to Long-term Care Enterprises to more effectively and efficiently recruit direct access workers such as Certified Nurse Assistants, Home Health Aides, Personal Care Aides, Medication Aides, Caregivers and those paraprofessionals who have direct access to long-term care patients. The Bureau of Labor Statistics has identified these positions as being in the highest demand while also experiencing extremely high turnover rates and significant shortages. CredentialedCARE's technology will help the enterprise improve their staffing to save time and money and to take advantage of revenue opportunities that may otherwise be lost due to staff shortages. As The Company grows, they will add services to improve compliance with provisions of the Affordable Care Act And expand workforce scope to include registered nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists and other professionals looking for job opportunities in the Long-term Care industry.

Kentucky Enterprise Fund is a Program sponsored by the Kentucky Science and Technology Corporation for Kentucky-based companies with a goal to build successful technology-related companies in the state. CredentialedCARE was originally based in San Diego, California and has recently established their corporate headquarters in eastern Louisville. Jerry Flanagan, CEO of CredentialedCARE explained, "CredentialedCARE was founded to improve efficiencies and quality in long-term care and with Louisville being home to the nation's largest collection of headquarters in the nursing home, rehabilitation, assisted living and home health segments, it was only natural that we make our home here."

CredentialedCARE has initiated beta testing in Southern California and Kentucky and plans to launch nationwide in December 2014.
