  • (1888PressRelease) February 21, 2012 - Sherman Mohr, CMO of Mint Media Group, described the program this way. "Local restaurant owners are very risk averse. They have to be. We seek to facilitate ways for local restaurant owners to profitably advertise and grow their business. With our two restaurant advertising payment components, we help them advertise cost effectively and track and pay incentives for results."

The new advertising program is designed to help local restaurants be successful. In fact, the new Coupon Mint program allows new restaurant advertisers to do trade in kind for a portion of the discounted advertising. Moreover, Mint Media will buy back up to 100 coupons redeemed by customers from the magazine, allowing the restaurant to apply the proceeds to future advertising cost.

William M. Keever, Mint Media's CEO, said "Restaurants, dining establishments, and entertainment venues are the highest value proposition for the average reader of our print publications, as well as the user of our mobile ready web site. If we continue to grow our reputation for delivering the best offers by the best local advertisers to our print and digital audience we will continue to see what have become huge increases in our market share."

Sherman Mohr added, "Our social web presence is likewise growing because of cutting edge programs like our "Check in for a cause" campaign (launched the week of February 20th). All "Check in" activity at Coupon Mint advertisers through Twitter, Foursquare, Facebook and web based opt-ins will trigger a donation of canned goods to Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee. This social engagement is designed to help Second Harvest feed the hungry, while also helping to drive new customers to the doors of our advertisers. Such campaigns represent significant additional value propositions to our advertisers far beyond the delivery of coupon oriented publications."

Mint Media Group is a full service digital media company with a 20 year history in print advertising and implementation expertise across the social web.
