All licensed cosmetologists in Georgia are required to obtain five hours of continuing education (CE) in order to renew their license. The Georgia Board of Cosmetology mandates 3 hours of health and safety training (DTAE) plus two additional hours of CE. Licensees have until March 31, 2012 to complete their coursework.
