  • Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease) March 28, 2009 - On Saturday May 23, Chicago Matchmakers will host a workshop for single women titled, "Finding the Perfect Mate: How to know who you want, where to find him, and if you even want him." This fun and interactive workshop is designed to improve the attitude and outlook towards dating of the attendees.

Chicago Matchmakers' founder, Gayle Hudson explains that most of the single women she meets are very successful career women who just don't know how to put the right focus on their love life. "Often someone will say to me, 'I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if I just need to be patient.' I created this workshop to give them a new starting point." explains Ms. Hudson. According to Ms. Hudson, the advice she gives to her clients would be valuable to all singles.

The workshop will provide an opportunity for self-reflection on one’s current single status, as well as analyze opportunities for finding love that are currently being missed. Ms. Hudson seeks to avoid the clichés of “why am I still single?” and instead focus on “who is perfect for me?” Participants will have a thorough understanding as to what the person who they are looking for really looks like, and provide an avenue to discover where they might find this person. Also discussed will be negative stereotypes and hang ups which are preventing women from finding the right man for them.

Held in the private Upper Deck room at the Cubby Bear and with a cash bar, one thinks more 'ladies night' than a typical seminar and that's exactly the point. "It's a lot easier to be in a social setting and think about your love life than to sit in a classroom. I designed it to be informative, but fun and relaxing too", says Gayle Hudson. Pre-registration is required and the cost is $25 which includes soft drinks. The workshop starts at 12 noon and is approximately 3 hours. The workshop will be repeated on June 27.
