Individual categories offer submissions in a variety of areas from Drip, Viral and Mashed Video Marketing to Blogs, Mobile and Interstitial Advertising.

“The Summit Emerging Media Award evolved because our media is changing rapidly as is our industry and there is a need to reward those pushing its bounds,” said Jocelyn Luciano, executive director of The Summit International Awards organization. “Many are studying these changes and looking for the new powerful tools and avenues to conceptually reach an application to which the audience and consumer can relate. This award is for the pioneers of the bleeding edge means of modern communication.”
Judging is done by a panel of interactive and marketing professionals representing some of the top firms from around the world. Winning submissions are selected based on Method, Innovation and Information. Winning entries receive the Best of Show, Visionary, Innovator and Leader awards.

“Creativity online has come full circle. It has gone through various stages of technology, bandwidth issues, target dynamics and is settling down to getting the job done effectively and beautifully,” said Tom Roy, Executive Director for Corporate Communications, for Promoseven McCann and former Summit Judge. “The Summit Awards are recognition of creativity that delivers to the task. That reaches the target audience effectively, clearly – and with creative panache. That’s why to be judged a winner, creative online or off needs to be clear, precise, compelling and outstanding.”
