  • Buttonwood Art Space is a community focused art space and gallery. Every purchase you make at Buttonwood will impact the community as a portion of every sale benefits a non-profit organization with local connections. Buyers can receive up to 50% of their purchase (rate depends on the show) as a tax deductible contribution to a non-profit. Our gallery is a place for local and regional artists to share their artworks and their commitment to non-profit charities.

    We host two-month-long exhibitions in our 7,500 sq. ft. building--a unique place to find local art!

  • See The Music - "Art Of Blues & Jazz, KC Style" Art Show To Benefit Music Societies
  • View the Kansas City vibrant blues & jazz music scene through an art exhibit at Buttonwood Art Space. Sales will benefit the KC Blues Society and KC Jazz ALIVE organizations. First Friday, March 4, 2016 VIP Ticket-only Reception 5-6pm. Public Reception will be from 6 to 9 pm. Live music, food truck, and an opportunity to purchase art AND support two great musical organization.

  • Artists from across the country will gather for a four-day Painting Fest to capture the natural beauty of Penn Valley Park and downtown Kansas City competing for $4,000 in prizes. The event will conclude with a gala reception and art auction.

Net sales will benefit an international charity, Golden Hat Foundation, started by actress Kate Winslett.   • Never without a camera, for decades former Kansas City Mayor Richard Berkley has captured portraits of politicians, leaders, sport stars and celebrities. He has taken thousands of pictures of all kinds of people over the years networking and generating goodwill. A portion of his collection is now on display at Buttonwood Art Space through the end of May.

  • Local school children in Kansas City to sell art through Buttonwood Financial Group and its sister company, Buttonwood Art Space during May, 2012. Additional art sales to benefit PE4life, a national 501c3 organization which helps with physical education programs in schools across the nation, providing tools for PE instructors, coaches and other sports activities.

  • Call for Artists: Visions of the Flint Hills 2011
  • The 10,000 acre Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve and the surrounding Flint Hills are the largest remaining parcel of the tallgrass prairie that once covered 140 million acres in North America. In 2008, the Tallgrass Prairie was named one of the eight wonders of the State of Kansas. VISIONS OF THE FLINT HILLS BENEFIT AND SALE is a juried exhibit featuring art of the Flint Hills.
