  • Denver, CO (1888PressRelease) June 27, 2013 - The Denver Public Schools (DPS) Foundation was established in 1992 in recognition of the fact that public funds alone cannot adequately support the ambitious efforts to advance student achievement in Denver Public Schools. In partnership with Denver Public Schools, DPSF raises and manages funds, makes strategic program investments, and serves as community leaders so that all students have the opportunity to succeed. The DPS Foundation directed nearly $10 million to Denver Public Schools for priority programs and critical needs last year.

    Attorney Whalen is an established Colorado injury attorney representing victims, patients, and consumers. Reeves D. Whalen has been recognized as a Colorado Super Lawyer Rising Star, Denver Business Journal (DBJ) 40 Under Forty, National Trial Lawyers (NTL) Top 40 Under 40, and was recently awarded the 2012 American Constitution Society (ACS) Progressive Young Leadership Award.
