  • Newark, NJ (1888PressRelease) April 29, 2009 - In the wake of the lingering financial crisis surrounding the biopharmaceutical industry, regional life science leaders will participate in “Funding Biopharma: Strategies for Reaching Investors in a Financial Crisis,” a symposium sponsored by Yankee Public Relations of Alexandria Township. The symposium will begin at 8 a.m. Tuesday, June 9 at the Basking Ridge Country Club, 185 Madisonville Rd., Basking Ridge.

    “Biopharmaceutical companies around the country have been crushed by the meltdown of the financial markets,” said Yankee Public Relations President Fred Feiner, moderator of the program. “Record numbers of companies have failed as available funding has been cut dramatically, jeopardizing research and technology that could impact thousands of lives.
