Bill Hionas says Gold is Actually Cheap at Current Prices

  • (1888PressRelease) October 05, 2011 - MIAMI, FL - Many investors are wondering if gold is too expensive, even at today's relatively lower price. In fact, strange as it may seem to say this, gold - at just over $1600 an ounce - is actually cheap. In the longer term it is anticipated that gold prices will go far higher, especially if governments keep 'curing' their debt ills by printing more money.

The situation in Europe is not healthy, by any standards, but with so many nations having a stake in keeping the euro afloat it seems they are happy about, or at least accepting of, the idea of pouring more and more money into the system to avoid any one country sinking into bankruptcy. As fiat currencies are increased, gold will increase in value also; on the other hand if, or when, the European system implodes and the euro collapses, gold will still shine as a safe haven. In addition, the economic situation in the US is not, to be honest, a whole lot better. The housing market is picking up far more slowly than was hoped and unemployment figures continue to be high. Chairman of the Federal Reserve Ben Bernanke is still hinting at further measures that might need to be taken to stimulate growth. Everything points to strong support for gold in the medium- to long-term.

"The present corrections that we are experiencing in the gold bullion market were all forecast by market analysts," says Bill Hionas. "However, they were factored in as part of an overall upward trend that is still targeting $2000 or higher."
