(1888PressRelease) July 13, 2009 - A New York born, Richmond VA based biker/singer/songwriter's, Rey Perez’ latest new CD has been released by Dead End Road Productions and was launched on the heels of the very thought provoking Dead End Road DVD. The Road Warrior is an eclectic blend of Christian worship songs that aims to capture the attention of the wounded, the afflicted and those in despair or feeling a sense of hopelessness. It exudes a message of love and hope with its soothing beats and Christ centric theme.

The title track “The Road Warrior” –a dedication to the life of long time friend Nicky Cruz - sets the tone and puts the project in motion, stating the heartfelt belief demonstrated by this biker’s lifestyle and nature: “I Am A Warrior For God And His Kingdom”. “After riding 350,000 miles all over this nation, on 5 bikes since 1995, now the Lord is calling me to share my gift of music with the world”, says Perez.

Although he plays several types of instruments, Rey considers the percussions his strong suit. A gifted musician since age sixteen, Perez has played in places like Madison Square Gardens and Shea Stadium for crowds of over 20,000 people and has traveled all over the world ministering and performing in many concerts. Rey Perez also played for the Nicky Cruz Singers in the 80’s (The Cross and the Switch Blade, Run Baby Run).
