    The Association for Size Diversity and Health (ASDAH) will be holding its 2007 Conference July 14th to July 16th at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel as the professional option of the NAAFA Annual Convention www.naafa.org.

    We are very excited to have commitments from PhD research experts Linda Bacon (UC Davis) and Paul Ernsberger (Case Western University) to present on the latest HAES related science at our opening Luncheon on Saturday. In addition, Psychologist Deb Burgard, PhD will be our keynote speaker at the joint NAAFA/ASDAH brunch on Sunday. We have received a number or excellent workshop proposals which we hope to offer as part of the conference program including:

    -- Combating Stereotyping and Strengthening our Emotional Immune System
    -- Aging in our Fat Bodies
    -- Sexuality and Healthy Relationships
    -- Promoting Peace in the “War on Childhood Obesity”
    -- Health Promotion and Eating Disorders
    -- HAES Research and Application
    -- Movement – Coming Home to Your Body
    -- Beyond BMI: assessing holistic, ecological health and well being
