Spear, Executive Director of the California Debt Limit Allocation Committee, for his countless contributions to community development and the financing of affordable housing. The ceremony and festive reception will be held at Angelus Plaza, 255 South Hill Street in Downtown Los Angeles.

    Over 200 community and business leaders, civic officials and friends, will attend this year's 7th annual event. Guests will enjoy gourmet food, wine tasting, networking and a silent auction. Revenue from Angelus Plaza City View will support multicultural services for the elderly and disabled, living throughout greater Los Angeles.

    Proceeds from the gala fundraiser will benefit the Angelus Plaza Senior Activity Center and its comprehensive programs in art, advocacy, education, social services, recreation, health and technology. Research has shown that enriched seniors who lead active lives, are greatly enhanced by their participation in these programs.

    "More than 100,000 Los Angeles area seniors use the Angelus Plaza Senior Activity Center annually," said Laurel Gillette, AIA, LEED AP, Studio Director at KTGY Group, Inc., the national architecture firm that handled the design of Angelus Plaza's $40 million major renovation project. This is also Gillette's second consecutive year assisting with Angelus Plaza City View Gala. "Last year, we netted $58,000 from our fundraising event and this year, we hope to double our proceeds," Gillette said.

    Generous Angelus Plaza City View Gold Sponsors include Bellwether Enterprise, CareMore Health Plan, Good Samaritan Hospital, Highridge Costa Investors, LLC, Related California and US Bank.

    Tax-deductible, sponsorship opportunities at various levels, are available to both corporate and individual donors. Advance reservations are $150. Tickets may also be purchased at the door for $150.
