Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, FL (1888PressRelease) March 05, 2010 - More2Life (M2L), a youth development program, will host its 21st Annual M2L Golf Classic. This year's tournament will be held in honor of Rick Baker, former Mayor of the city of St. Petersburg. While in office, Mayor Baker was an example to teens on how to make wise decisions, despite pressures to make quick decisions based on what might seem appropriate at the moment. The tournament will be March 27th at 1:00 pm at Wentworth Golf Club in Tarpon Springs. Highlights of the event include participation of Pinellas County's top teen golfers, contests and many valuable prizes.

The More2Life program, has impacted over 60,000 local students with the message that their "Choices Affect their Future!" since its inception in 1998. M2L's dynamic programs enable youth to set and achieve their goals by empowering them to build healthy relationships and avoid risky behaviors including drugs, alcohol, and other topics. In addition, 5,000 parents have appreciated our parenting seminars that encourage and equip them with resources on how to guide their children to healthy decision making during the teenage years. All proceeds from the event benefit the ongoing efforts of this successful program which has been taught in public and private schools and several community organizations.
