Zipper Urogynecology Expands to Vero Beach
Zipper Urogynecology Associates (Melbourne, FL), Central Florida's premier women's pelvic health center, has expanded to the Treasure Coast with a new office in Vero Beach. The expansion gives increased convenience for current patients and will bring innovative, minimally-invasive treatments to women across the Treasure Coast.
- Vero Beach, FL (1888PressRelease) February 27, 2012 - Due to high patient demand in the Treasure Coast, Zipper Urogynecology Associates, a women-focused pelvic medical practice treating urinary incontinence and pelvic prolapse, will open a second facility in Vero Beach. Zipper Urogynecology treats pelvic floor disorders in women using techniques new to the Treasure Coast including Painless Laser Therapy™ for overactive bladder and daVinci Robotic surgery for pelvic organ prolapse.
Zipper Urogynecology plans to see patients at their Vero Beach facility beginning March 12, 2012.
"We have a large number of patients in Vero Beach/Indian River County," said Dr. Ralph Zipper, medical director at Zipper Urogynecology Associates. "This new facility is about being more convenient and accessible to the patients that need us."
The urogynecology practice added fellowship-trained urogynecologist Dr. James Raders in 2011. Raders brings over twenty years of experience treating conditions such as pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence. "It's an exciting time for Zipper Urogynecology and for this field," said Zipper. "Because of increased information and awareness, women are beginning to discuss their pelvic health openly and are actively seeking treatment. We are happy to support this increased demand for our services through expansion of staff and facilities."
In addition to Raders and Jennifer Lang, one of the nation's most experienced urogynecology P.A.s, Zipper also recently brought on Dr. Sherri Lorraine to lead pelvic floor physical therapy and post-surgical rehabilitation.
Zipper Urogynecology now offers one of the most comprehensive female pelvic healthcare programs in the U.S.
"Our goal is to provide an environment where we can holistically treat patients by guiding them every step of the way from their initial consultation to post-op therapy," says Zipper. "We've achieved that with this team of professionals."
