  • (1888PressRelease) November 17, 2010 - Zanesville, Ohio - Most states in the Midwest tend to resemble each other; corn, soybeans and good people. For Dr. William Knudson, making the move from Iowa will be a comfortable transition. As a certified podiatric physician, Dr. William Knudson's services are always needed. A move just a few hundred miles in any direction from his most recent practice in Cedar Rapids, Iowa will provide new opportunities, new scenery for his family and a fresh approach to his medical vocation.

Dr. William Knudson is a graduate of the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois where he attended from 1991 through 1995. Over the next thirteen years Dr. William Knudson saw patients in three geographically diverse practices but he never left Iowa. Considering the relocation of his family and practice since early 2010 has proven to be a mixed blessing.

Dr. William Knudson hopes to acquire an existing practice somewhere in the Midwest and then attend to the required state certifications required to practice podiatry in a new home state. That may leave him with a bit of time on his hands and he is looking forward to taking advantage of the opportunity. An avid outdoorsman, Dr. William Knudson hopes to visit area lakes in different states and take advantage of fall fishing. Dr. William Knudson will also take day trips with his family to the Tri-Valley and Powelson wilderness areas as well as Wayne National Forest while in Ohio.

With a new practice expected to open in early 2011, Dr. William Knudson seeks to pace himself as he balances roles of father and husband with his professional demands. Dr. William Knudson has begun the slow process of networking with both peers and business professionals through civic organizations in the cities he is considering. Taking the temperature of an area in this business environment is a critical part of the evaluation process. It turns out that people are as friendly in most cities as they are in Iowa, and Dr. William Knudson is looking forward to serving patients in a new location for years to come.
