June 18, 2008 - MARSHFIELD, MA - The Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield, which is a 1,000 member strong non-profit organization that provides the area’s youth with enrichment and recreation programs in a safe environment, offers a Summer Program to both residents and non-residents.
Counselors and volunteers oversee the program, which serves from 20 to 80 children.
The kids have an opportunity to play games; do arts and crafts; buff up on their creative writing and play indoor sports or they can choose from other enrichment activities that may be available.
The club’s summer program runs Monday through Friday from 12 to 5 p.m. from June 18th through August 30th. Children must be a member of the club in order to enroll in the Summer Program. The Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield’s purpose is to establish a safe haven for recreation, which includes a variety of supervised activities for greater than 4,000 youths (between the ages of 6 to 18 years old) within the town.
