November 10, 2006 - Young Russian lady Albina Baklykova is trying to build a one million dollar wall. That is her original idea she presented to the whole Music World!
This idea is simple, but original. Albina constructed a simple website, which just looks like a big brick wall, which the young lady offers to fill in with images linked to different sites via buying the bricks of that wall. In total, the wall has 5000 bricks. Actually, it’s the first internet wall. Not everyone can get a brick in the wall, as the project idea is that only music related sites (artists, musicians, bands, djs, producers, fan-clubs, record labels, radio stations, music tv channels, licensed digital distribution music sites, real music shops, instrument stores, clubs and bars… etc.) can be added to the wall. From that comes the name of the site, The Great Music Wall!
Albina thinks it will be a very interesting and a great opportunity for new and up coming bands to advertise there music! She expects millions of people will see her wall and it will become an original directory to music related sites. Albina is planning to invest in searching and supporting young Russian music talents and to start a world wide radio station with absolutely new and original format.
