December 15, 2008 - A large number of Broward County’s residents and business’ are preparing for the county's largest food. This will be the inaugural year of this county wide program which has hopes of collecting a minimum of 10,000 pounds of food for the Cooperative Feeding Program.
The program created and spearheaded by the Sunrise Chamber of Commerce first started as a Chamber project but has evolved into a county-wide project for many Broward county residents and business’. Members of the Sunrise Chamber will collect nonperishable food from customers to be donated to the Cooperative Feeding Program.
The Sunrise Chamber Of Commerce and XL1 Media Inc. will partner to produce an advertising campaign to encourage participation. The campaign will consist of Posters, email promos, press releases, radio and tv spots and T-shirt sales. All the collateral will have an explanation of how to participate. The Sunrise Chamber Of Commerce will have volunteers to collect the boxes at the end of the Food .
