August 24, 2008 - Berlin – The idea is simple, the realisation extensive: people, information,
communication, data, different devices combined under one umbrella. Developed from this idea the new network conception ‘xeNet’ (xebax Network) was born.
Software engineer Hans Jürgen Fuchs, executive of xebax GmbH, Berlin, and his team laid the foundation for market-ready realisation of xeNet-technology.
The xeNet with its innovative technology concept is setting new standards in contrast to present utilisation of internet, which finally delivers a secure, efficient, dynamic service platform available for every user.
The internet in its present form is resolving into millions of individual data processors. Today the http-link is the only method of combining different data sources. Only by using search engines, it is possible to find content and services.
In contrast to the internet ‘xeNet’ is an object-orientated network. By classifying individual objects and assigning attributes, a specific access to particular originals will be realised. Through standardised data management inside of xeNet, data are offered to different services for further usage. xeNet is a pool of different resources, as for example process computers, data storages, database servers and network management, available for user utilisation.
The ‘intranet in internet’ based on implementation of new transmission protocols, which in the first enables the capsulation facing the public data communication. The net-in-net conception provides a secure, spam-free application-platform for every user.
By modular software architecture every kind of applications is capable of being integrated into xeNet:

In the course of development all network relevant components were critically proofed and out of these experiences we made a tailor-made solution for our network user.
The kernel of this new network conception is ORAS (Object Referencing and Addressing System) as organisation and management system, independent from the current DNS system.
The ORAS sytem resolves all previously existing limits, so xebax create xeNet a ‘Supercomputer’ with unlimited data memory.
xeNet contains cluster with different divisions of functions, whereas four categories are building the base structure:

data cluster to build up data storage
administrative cluster
databases
The newly developed xeNetCommander as user front-end, is an uniform network access software for all kind of user. It is simplifying the network access and the user is always navigating in his usual and standardised environment.
The xeNetCommander is completely supported by applications and it connects involved and integrated members, services and resources of information. By using .NET-development the xeNetCommander is open-end scaleable, completely internet compatible, future-proof and dynamically expansible. The strict separation of network management, data transfer, data bases and visualisation for several devices allows an unlimited mobility and autonomy of operating systems and user interfaces.
The process engine, based on Java, is the intelligent kernel of data processing. xeNet contains no longer definitely structured applications, but a modular arranged library system, from it on demand the particular modules are required and proceed from the application server. These modules will be centrally administrated from ORAS and made available to the application server.
The modular image of extensive applications reduces exceptionally the development period of applications and decreases charges of development and customisation for companies.
The integrated search engine is the outward window. An object-oriented data storage allows the configuration of thematically orientated information channels.
The search engine is integrated into process management, so that a contemporary updating of data can be achieved.
Search engine services are directly integrated into xeNet commander and enable a specific company, service, document and data source locating.
New reconsidered safety concepts present no open contact surfaces, because the Network is not transparent outwards, therefore sensible applications can be integrated.
The xeNet with its sustained technology concept is the forward-looking solution, to provide our global digitised information- and science society with a platform, which meets the present and future requirements.
