The concept of the business is simple –all your favourite health and beauty products without the high street and supermarket markups, meaning shoppers save on items such as painkillers, allergy tablets, shower gels, hairdryers and razors.
Over 20,000 products are available online and qualified pharmacists oversee all orders which are then dispatched from its warehouse headquarters in Birmingham to customers throughout the UK.
The idea for the company came while Mitesh was assisting his wife Krishna with her small independent chemist shop, in central London. He identified the big increases between manufacturing and retail prices and realised costs could be slashed by cutting out the middlemen and keeping overheads to a minimum by using e-commerce.
A business consultant by training, Mitesh then set about creating a business model and brand name which would ensure his idea bore fruit.
