wrapmup.com was started in the spring of 2007 by Claudia Johnson and Mariah Hale. It all started when Claudia’s 10 year old daughter showed interest in her little brother’s hooded baby towel. It was too small for her and she hated the lion’s mane around her head. So Claudia and Mariah, an experienced seamstress who worked in the NYC Broadway costume industry and the bridal industry made their first hooded towel. Soon, their friends and family wanted them too. Today the two make the towels by hand and ship them out of their home.
