Portnoy was featured on the July 21, 2014 cover of TIME Magazine's "World War Zero: How Hackers Fight to Steal Your Secrets." The 535th WEC meeting is co-presented with the Worcester Young Businessmen's Association and sponsored by Applied Interactive. Speaking on the topic of "The Economics of Vulnerabilities," Portnoy's address will be pertinent in today's era of privacy concerns and compromised security infrastructure.

    Since the age of 18, Portnoy has worked at vulnerability intelligence firms while focusing on becoming a recognized industry expert in reverse engineering, vulnerability discovery, and exploitation. He has presented at industry conferences around the world as well as privately for government institutions such as the NSA. Aaron has been quoted by the BBC, Wired, Reuters, NBC, and others.
