October 13, 2009 - The waiting is over and the highly anticipated nominations for the Fighters Only World MMA Awards can now be revealed. Over the past three months, tens of thousands of MMA fans around the world have had their say in selecting the top five in eighteen different categories. A nineteenth Outstanding Contribution category will be voted for by a panel of industry experts.

The Awards will take place on 30th December at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas at a star studded ceremony which will celebrate the most exciting moments and the greatest achievements in the world of mixed martial arts during the past twelve months.
A limited number of tickets for the exclusive World MMA Awards Ceremony are now on sale from Ticketmaster.com and recommended ticket agents.
