July 04, 2007 - Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) is a sponsor of the national research study Accelerating the Growth of Businesses Owned by Women of Color conducted by the Center for Women’s Business Research and Babson College. The objectives of the study include identifying the barriers and challenges that women of color face in achieving business growth and creating action plans to meet those challenges. The study will be completed in 2008 with a national conference. Here, results of the research and public- and private-sector policy recommendations will be announced.
