Founded by Keith Wallace, Philly's Wine School is one of the oldest and largest wine schools in the United States. The founder's quirky combination of charismatic playfullness and deep knowlege of wine are very evident to this very day. The Wine School welcomes Boozehound author and Washington Post journalist, Jason Smith, to its signature wine and food pairing event, the Sommelier Smackdown.
"Brewers Night at the Philly Beer School" is a new series of classes highlighting local brewers and their award-winning beers. Carold Stoudt, of Stoudt's Brewing Company, will kick off the series on Thursday, September 23rd, 2010.
