May 22, 2008 - The Rose Festival - The Portland Rose Festival is one of Oregon’s prime cultural annual events. During the Rose Festival, the Portland Rose Festival Court and Merchandise Store will be visiting Wilsonville Honda on May 10, when they would entertain the dealership with songs. During this visit, the panel will make Official Portland Rose Festival souvenirs available to customers and employees.
The dealership has presented 20 courtesy vehicles to be used as Pace Cars for the three main events: the Grand Floral Parade (Saturday June 7, 2008); the Starlight Parade (Saturday May 31, 2008); and the Junior Parade (Wednesday June 4, 2008). These vehicles will also carry Rose Festival parade dignitaries along the parade routes.
NBA All-Star of the Portland Trail Blazers’ Brandon Roy, who will be the Grand Marshal in the Grand Floral Parade, will be riding in a Honda S2000 chosen from Wilsonville Honda during the Grand Floral Parade.
Following this, the dealership will have a Post Rose Festival Sale, at which all the Honda models that take in the parades will be on sale at discounted prices, to round up the Rose Festival.
