Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease)
October 22, 2007 - Josh Moscov, a writer, publicist, drummer and aspiring artist influenced by the works of William S. Burroughs, has expanded his works to include war-related montage art. The online gallery can be viewed at: http://drummer40.deviantart.com/gallery/. DeviantArt is a large online art community with a mission of providing a destination for artists of all kinds to express themselves. (www.deviantart.com)
The new pieces include "Airstrike Insanity," "Playing Card War," and others.
"In my first pieces, I focused on Burroughs himself," Moscov explained. "Now, I've expanded the subject matter, but have remained true to the 'Burroughs' mode of expression, which is based on montage, collage and the infamous 'cut-up method'."
A future press release will elaborate on a new phase of the gallery.
