February 12, 2008 - Popeye’s Chicken and Biscuits on Route 130 Willingboro open several weeks ago.
I received several complaints about this Popeye's high priced menu. I visited the Pennsauken Popeye’s for price comparison their pricing was much lower. I’m hoping Popeye’s corporate office will check the menu pricing and make the appropriate corrections.
Several residents are saying Popyeye's staff are to slow & making to many mistakes processing their order at the drive through.
I also notice this Popeye's does not promote the national TV Advertisement specials like the 9.99 Bonafide. I asked one manager: why do they not display the 10 Piece $9.99 Bonafide in there window like the Pensauken location?" I was told it was a management decision. All I can say if you have $30.00 for 16 pieces of chicken & 8 biscuits plus sides. You’re doing better then me. I'd rather take my $30.00 to shoprite and purchase at least 5 whole chicken. Residents must be educated in the value of a dollar, just because the menu says that price, you can walk out and go to another establishment at a better price point.
Popeye's is famous for its side dishes, ranging from dirty rice to Cajun mashed potatoes. Managers say the business is drawing people from all over the Township,
