July 08, 2008 - The wheelchair clinic will be taking place between 10am and 4pm at Motion Specialties located at 616 Justus Drive, Kingston. People can bring in their manual or power wheelchairs, electric scooters, walkers, canes and more for a free maintenance inspection. In addition the clinic, representatives from March of Dimes Assistive Devices Program (ADP) will be on-hand to provide funding consultations for the cost of repairs or the purchase of new devices. ADP provides partial funding to more than 1,400 people a year for the purchase and maintenance of equipment such as, manual and motorized wheelchairs, lifting equipment, bath aids, seating inserts and wheelchair cushions, canes, crutches and walkers and more.
