(1888PressRelease) May 19, 2009 - In a recent presentation, over 60 students at Westwood College in Calumet, IL spent an hour with Dwain Celistan. His talk was largely based on achieving success while in school and establishing a framework for continued success outside of the academic setting.

Dwain’s presentation was based in part on his new book, “College Students 6 Steps to Achieve Your Dreams” which can be found either on Amazon.com or CareerAccelerationCoach.com. In the interactive discussion, the 6 steps were enthusiastically shared and developed. The steps are focused on behaviors each individual can control. Thus, achieving their dreams is not something left up to macro issues or the environment.

The 6 steps included actions that begin with ideation and brainstorming and end with an action plan that each individual develops and holds themselves accountable to complete. Throughout the presentation, examples were provided to highlight how the process has and can work.

Sherry Kostoff, Director of Student Services coordinated the presentation. She believed this type of presentation would reinforce and enhance messages that the faculty and staff provide to students throughout their tenure. Afterwards, she felt the presentation was on target and has suggested a similar presentation be provided to the other Westwood Colleges in Chicagoland.

Celistan, known as the Career Acceleration Coach, brought the 6 steps to life by applying them to their academic pursuits. This helped to punctuate how the process can work on achieving their dreams, beginning with completing their current college education.

Dwain is an executive recruiter and former senior corporate executive. He speaks frequently throughout the country and can be reached at dwain ( @ ) reinvent2achieve dot com or 630-455-0172. His web site also provides additional information, www.CareerAccelerationCoach.com
