August 13, 2008 - Philadelphia attorney, Rhonda Hill Wilson, spoke to 20 six- through 13-year-old children at the West Philadelphia Salvation Army Summer Day Camp last month about her career as an attorney. Hill Wilson currently serves on The Salvation Army of Greater Philadelphia’s Advisory Board, helping to ensure that the organization continues to deliver outstanding services to those in need.
Hill Wilson said she is dedicated to reaching out to Philadelphia’s youth through educational career and mentorship programs similar to the Salvation Army’s Summer Day Camp program. Last year, her firm participated in Drexel University’s Co-Op Program offering Drexel Law students an internship involving hands-on experience in the industry. She also recently spoke at a Temple Law program about what a trial lawyer does, the lack of women and minority representation in the trial lawyers’ profession and the need for more diversity.
