The contest, which runs until March 30, will provide a lucky grand prize winner who is re-entering the workforce $2,500 in cosmetic dentistry that will include smile-enhancing cosmetic whitening and bonding services. The winner will also receive a new haircut and hairstyle from Sean Luis Salon in Rocky River.
According to Dr. Michael Gallagher of West Park Dental, "a great smile conveys confidence and approachability, and we want to give a deserving person an opportunity to look and feel their best when they are interviewing for a job in a competitive workplace."
"We believe the benefits of this makeover will not only help them in securing a career, but it can also strengthen self esteem that will, in turn, help to improve their life overall," Gallagher said.
The winner will be notified the week of April 9. To enter, contestants need to be actively pursuing employment and must write a summary of at least 100 words describing why they would like this makeover and how it will help them in their professional lives, along with their name, address and phone number. A current digital or standard photo of themselves smiling is also required. Contestants must be Cleveland residents. There are two different ways to enter.
