October 17, 2007 - Multi award-winning Wentworth Brewery has launched some new packaging that is already wooing local shops, regional chains, and even the national supermarkets.
Wentworth Brewery’s new 4-pack, The Famous Four, contains one bottle of each of its famous award-winning bottled beers – WOPPA, Bumble Beer, Oatmeal Stout, and Rampant Gryphon.
The four bottles retail at around £6 per pack and are the ideal complement to a night in with the television and a take away, like a good curry. The beers taste just as good on their own, the only difficulty is knowing which to drink first!
Wentworth’s sales manager Chris Tinker, said: “The new packaging was the idea of our managing director, Steve Beech. We wanted something with real stand out value on the shelf, which would truly represent the quality of the product. Our designers and packaging people have done us proud, and we’re both delighted and excited with the results.
”There’s a huge amount of interest from the shops and supermarkets we have already shown the packaging to. The Famous Four makes a fantastic gift for beer fans, especially those who may not have tried Wentworth’s beers before. It’s always difficult choosing new beers without a recommendation, so this is a good way for people to try four very different real ales and work out what style of beer they prefer.”
