PRAGUE- The first day of Sinclair Nicholas’ public relations class, the students were informed that they would be creating their own website, www.PragueBlog.cz. The plan: during the spring semester students will constantly contribute their own blogs and other personal projects as a means of practicing PR while sharing their unique cultural backgrounds.
The anything goes attitude- as long as it’s news and interesting- is the ideal angle of approach. Every student has different ideas, and is encouraged to present almost anything they desire. The website already offers useful web links, student’s blogs, pictures, latest news, Prague events and much more. New additions fill it each day.
Students started out slow, but soon realized how easy the website is to use and began participating more. Allowing students this involvement increases the opportunity of learning about computer technology as well as how to create effective PR- not to mention it is a fun way for students to interact and share their interests with each other and the public
