(1888PressRelease) August 28, 2008 - Derry, New Hampshire –The Waves of Gratitude (WOG) team participated in the Boston 3-Day walk to benefit the Susan G. Komen foundation. The walk brought together more than 2,000 walkers and 500 crew members with one goal in mind: raise awareness and funds to put an end to breast cancer. In addition, a percentage of all jewelry and apparel profits from Waves of Gratitude will benefit the Susan G. Koman for the Cure through 2008.

“The walk was one of the most incredible experiences I have had,” said Kim Wierman, co-owner of Waves of Gratitude. “To be able to focus on only the cause at hand for three days, and to see the support of the communities though which we walked, was amazing. Giving back to causes important to us is part of what we as a company have made a priority in our business activities,” added Kim. Waves of Gratitude will choose other life-improving organizations to contribute for 2009.

The Waves of Gratitude jewelry line was created as the result of a search by the owners for a reminder to be grateful. Waves of Gratitude had the various wave shapes created to depict the movement and uniqueness of individual waves. The company also has apparel as an addition to its line of message jewelry. An online community for sharing stories of gratitude is available for visitors of the website.
