January 31, 2012 - Wasabi Ventures (http://wasabiventures.com/), a venture capital company and startup incubator, today announces the addition of two new venture partners to its roster: Nick Daley and Bobby Touran. They join over 40 specialists already employed under the banner of Wasabi Ventures that manage an ever-evolving portfolio of about 20 companies at any given time.
Nick Daley, a graduate from the University of Alabama and relative newcomer to the venture capital industry, will focus on consulting and business development in the San Francisco Bay area. Daley's role will be to identify prospective portfolio companies, opportunities, and entrepreneurs to bring into the Wasabi Ventures portfolio.
"I am very excited for the opportunity to join the dedicated and talented team at Wasabi Ventures," said Daley. "I look forward to helping our clients and Wasabi achieve measurable success."
Bobby Touran, a recent graduate from McGill University, is already an entrepreneur and has founded several startups. Touran's specialties include business development, team-building, and management. To this end, Touran will be working with founding teams to utilize the diverse resources that Wasabi Ventures has to offer.
"I studied Finance in School," said Touran, "so I have always been interested on getting back onto the investment side. Venture capital is a dream job for me -- allowing me to work finance while staying close to entrepreneurs."
