September 03, 2009 - Participants can also give their how-to demonstration on videotape. Participants are asked to bring their own props for purposes of demonstration. The event is free to the public.

Why: “This month, we wanted to bring a new avenue to our listeners that allows them to channel their expertise and share that with others in the Lake Michigan Region,” says Wendy Turner, general manager of Vocalo.org.
Who: You are the teacher – now, take us to school.
When: The Vocalo.org Teach-A-Thon live event will be held on Friday, September 25 from 3 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday, September 26 from noon to 5 p.m.
Where: The Vocalo.org and Chicago Public Radio studios are located at 848 East Grand Avenue, Navy Pier, Chicago, between the Billy Goat and Riva restaurants.
