April 24, 2008 - Glendale, Arizona – Vivaldi Salon Suites-Where style meets Elegance will be introducing their first location, stylists and services to the community with a spectacular Grand Opening event unveiling the Share the Hair program to benefit Locks of Love Charity. The event will be held Saturday May 3rd, 2008, from 4p.m. to 8p.m. at Vivaldi Salon Suites located in The Citadelle Plaza on 59th Avenue and Utopia.
Guests will enjoy complimentary food, beverages and salon services. Complimentary salon services include; eye-brow waxing, Smokey eyes makeup session, color extensions, hand treatments, hair updo’s and style outs. Gift baskets will be raffled off throughout the event with all proceeds being donated to the Locks of Love Charity. In addition, complimentary hair cuts will be offered to anyone that makes a hair donation to Locks of Love Charity on site at the event. Locks of Love and Vivaldi Salon Suites are aiming to reach ten on site hair donations during the grand opening event.
Share the Hair, is a program created by Velveia Evans, Vivaldi’s owner and operator, to encourage high school Students to get involved in giving to the Locks of Love Charity. Students who register with the Share the Hair program will grow their hair throughout their high school years to make a hair donation to Locks of Love non-profit organization. The program offers complimentary hair care to keep hair maintained until it is donated to Locks of Love.
Locks of Love, is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under the age of 18, who are suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. Locks for Love was founded in 1997 and to date, has helped over 2,000 children, with recipients in all 50 states and Canada. Citadelle is a 10-acre development, managed and developed by Stephens Land Company. The 110,000 square foot mixed use development houses retail, medical, office space and restaurants is located at 59th avenue & Utopia in Glendale, AZ. The Citadelle debuted in October 2007.
