July 31, 2009 - San Luis Obispo, CA - The R23G $16.4 Billion dollar multiple award ID/IQ contract awarded to the ACET Team. Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Inc. has been awarded a PRIME contract on the $16.4 Billion dollar Rapid Response 3rd Generation (R23G) program by the Army’s Communications & Electronics Command (CECOM). This is the Army’s largest IDIQ contract and has a 5 year term and spans both CONUS and OCONUS (worldwide) locations. Other prime contractors include Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, Booz Allen, Raytheon, and Computer Science Corporation. Visual Purple, LLC is a subcontractor to ACET for this effort.
R2-3G is the U.S. Army Program Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command’s follow on contract to the current Rapid Response (R2) contract. This is a multiple award IDIQ vehicle to provide critical equipment and engineering services to government system, platform and item managers worldwide.
