Virtual TimeClock 2009 Roadmap: Helping Businesses Navigate a Challenging Economy

New features, new products, and free software maintenance enrollment help businesses manage payroll costs.

(1888PressRelease) December 11, 2008 - Fresno, CA USA – Redcort Software today released details on their upcoming Virtual TimeClock 2009 software release with special year-end pricing. Virtual TimeClock software for Windows and Macintosh computers helps small to medium size businesses easily manage their employee hours and overtime costs.

"Our customers have asked us to make Virtual TimeClock scale with their businesses both in terms of growth and economic changes, and we take those requests seriously," said Keith DeLong, CEO of Redcort Software. "As a result, we’re bringing tremendous flexibility in terms of deployment and functionality. We’ve completely redesigned the administration interface for simplicity, enabling us to add over a dozen requested new features, including additional overtime rules, automatic time deductions, and expanded leave tracking."

The all-new TimeClock Server for 2009 is designed to be easy for the non-technical small business owner to install and manage while seamlessly integrating into more sophisticated business data centers. A list of all the new features and functionality in Virtual TimeClock Pro 2009 is available at the Redcort Software web site.

Virtual TimeClock Pro 2009 will ship early in the first quarter of 2009. A customer beta is currently available by request at the Redcort Software web site.

In the second quarter, Redcort Software will ship a brand new Virtual TimeClock 2009 Small Business Edition. The new Small Business Edition will be a value priced stand-alone time clock for businesses with less than five employees.

Purchases of Virtual TimeClock Pro made through the end of December will include a free six-month Software Maintenance & Support program enrollment (a $35-$250 value). Customers enrolled in Software Maintenance & Support receive a free upgrade to Virtual TimeClock Pro 2009 when it is released, as well as free premium technical support. "Businesses are looking for ways to better manage their payroll costs," remarked DeLong. "And though we’ve never offered our popular Software Maintenance & Support enrollment for free, it’s a way to help other businesses as we enter a challenging new year."
