February 01, 2008 - This is an amazing feat for VANetworking.com, a forum that is only 5 years old. It is billed as the “hottest, friendliest, most informative, educational, resourceful network for VAs”. As virtual assistant forums go, this is the largest and it doesn’t seem that this growth will be slowing down anytime soon. Out almost 10,000 members, there is a very strong core group of almost 8,000 members.
With recent mentions in articles like the one that appeared in the May 2007 edition of the Reader’s Digest and the January 11 edition of the Globe and Mail, virtual assistants are making VANetworking.com their online meeting place. People come and ask questions, give advice, share their successes, and even help each other find clients. A member at VANetworking.com, Darrell Williams of Right-Hand-Man Virtual Assistant Services says this:
“This is the most supportive business forum that I have been a part of. Other VAs are always willing to answer any questions I have and they are also open to any comments or suggestions I might have, as well. It is like we are all working together because it’s not a competitive place. Everyone honestly wants the best for each other’s Virtual Assistant practice. My VA practice would not be where it is today without the help I found at VANA”
VANetworking.com’s founder, Tawnya Sutherland, and her team of “VA Virtuosos” are a volunteer team of extremely successful VAs. They are involved at VANetworking.com to help other VAs succeed as virtual assistants, the same way that they have. They are a vital part of VANetworking.com and their solid input is invaluable to the “aspiring” VAs.
As more people become aware of virtual assistants and the need for their services increases, VANetworking.com will be there to help VAs and their clients along. Williams also says that becoming a part of the new VAInsiders group has helped his business even more and he has found new clients through the Request for Proposal (RFP) system. If a client needs a Virtual Assistant, they just submit their information to VANA and then the VAs have a chance to respond to their request. This is just one of the services and benefits of the new VAInsiders membership.
Williams is also honored to be one of the authors of the new “VA eBooks” offered at VANetworking.com. Williams authored the popular “7 Keys for Responding to RFPs” and “7 Keys for Writing Great RFPs”. These books have helped many virtual assistants gain clients through presenting a great proposal in answer to RFPs.
If you would like to find out more about what a virtual assistant is or if you are a virtual assistant needing support, guidance and tips on succeeding give the Virtual Assistant Networking Association a look. You will be joining 10,000 VAs ready to help. If you are looking for a Virtual Assistant, VANetworking.com would also be a great place to start.
