Village Deli Transitions To Clarksville Cafe

An updated interior, new menu additions, and extended hours are just some of the changes Village Deli made when changing its name to Clarksville Cafe.

Trenton-Ewing, NJ (1888PressRelease) December 02, 2007 - Village Deli located at 217 Clarksville Road in West Windsor has been renamed to Clarksville Café. Early this summer, the deli announced that they were undergoing renovations and changing their name to reflect their new, improved image. The owners, Scott Jackson and Vinny Yandoli, enlisted the help of loyal customers to help decide the new name. Customers submitted suggestions into a ballot box and then voted on the top four entries. Clarksville Cafe won by a landslide. “We are particularly happy with the winning name because it reflects the cafe location: 217 Clarksville Road in West Windsor,” said Yandoli.

Since the Village Deli opened two years ago, it has slowly been transforming from a convenience store into a café and gourmet delicatessen. The first phase of interior renovations started on September 21st and will be completed by the end of the year. With an updated look, more upscale menu offerings, Grab-N-Go options, and a breakfast bar, the owners hope the new store will reflect the level of service and commitment they provide to their customers. “We are always looking for ways to make life easier for our customers. That is why we’ve started offering Grab-N-Go meals for families on the run,” explains Jackson. Clarksville Café has also elevated their catering services, focusing on corporate accounts, special events, and in-home parties.

Clarksville Cafe serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and takeout Monday through Friday from 6am - 8pm and Saturday from 7am - 8pm. They provide catering for corporate meetings, special events, and in-home parties.
