February 07, 2008 - Vigilance™ is the Harrington Group’s IED detection training game which won the "2007 People's Choice" award during the Serious Games Showcase & Challenge in Orlando. The game was created using the state-of-the-art Crytek
CryENGINE2® 3D engine and the Scaleform GFx™ UI engine to create a nearly photo-realistic simulation.
Crytek will be demonstrating the CryENGINE2 game development platform during this year’s Game Developers Conference (GDC) February 18th-22nd in San Francisco and has invited Harrington Group to demonstrate Vigilance in their booth. Crytek will also be debuting console versions of CryENGINE2 for PS3 and Xbox 360 to a select audience. In addition to the Crytek booth, Vigilance will be displayed in the Scaleform booth.
GDC is the world’s largest gaming industry event for professionals. Held every spring in San Francisco, it is the essential learning and networking event for developers of all types of games.
