June 19, 2009 - As the current state of the economy has affected the majority of minority business, Eyenga has turned to new avenues for growth and expansion.
One aspect has been to certify VBP OutSourcing as a Minority Business Enterprise. Eyenga explains “It wasn’t until last year, when the economy really started to hit, that we proactively said, ‘OK, let’s take the time to finish the application.’” Eyenga continues, “When it’s 100 pages deep and business was still flourishing, it wasn’t the right time.”
Veronica Eyenga also plans to grow her business by creating multi-platform marketing campaigns while implementing promotional packages that bundle multiple projects together including logos, business cards, brochures and websites.
Eyenga concluded the interview by recommending other small businesses and fellow uncertified MBE’s to take the time to register for minority certification in an attempt to bid on government contracts.
