May 07, 2008 - Sean Callahan, owner of Dog Tired Studio and Gallery in Vergennes, Vermont, has partnered with Vermont Discovery Cruises to host a new series of watercolor painting cruises aboard the yacht Moonlight Lady, in 2008. “We are honored to feature Mr. Callahan as host of these wonderful painting cruises.” states cruise line owner, Michael Shea.
Vermont Discovery Cruises offers an innovative new portal for the arts, enabling artists to immerse themselves in their passion for watercolor under the guidance of a master, on the waters of Lake Champlain. Vermont Artist Sean Callahan will host two fabulous watercolor painting cruises aboard the yacht, Moonlight Lady. Four days and three nights of painting, serenity and relaxation await this summer along the west coast of New England.
Lake Champlain has served as inspiration for painters since the early settlers began exploring the lake and its tranquil, scenic by-waters. This cruise vacation experience will allow the tradition to continue. “I have the highest regard for Sean Callahan. An accomplished artist and gallery owner, Sean Callahan offers private lessons at his studio, Dog Tired Studio, in Vergennes, Vermont. He also offers instruction at the Copley Society of Art in Boston, MA. His works can be found throughout Vermont’s premier galleries such as Frog Hollow in Manchester and Burlington and Green Mountain Fine Arts Gallery in Stowe, Vermont.
